The Pipistrel Alpha Trainer LSA is a brand new from the factory aircraft your can fly with us today. It is equipped with the latest Garmin G3X glass cockpit
and the full Garmin autopilot. The LSA aircraft also has a ballistic recover parachute.
Train full time, part time and anything in between. Training programs are available from Sport Pilot/Private Pilot all the way through our flight academy to Commercial and Airline Transport (ATP) pilot.

Sport Pilot Certificate additional information
The cost for the Sport Pilot certificate is affected by a lot of factors:
- The airplane you choose to learn to fly in.
- How many instruction hours you require.
- How well you study and how talented you are (and therefore how many instruction hours you require).
- We use flight simulators extensively to reduce your flight training cost overall.
The time frame is a factor as well (learning to fly in a shorter time span is more effective and thus more efficient financially). Please keep in mind your progress and completion time (and therefore your training cost) much depends on your talent, enthusiasm and your study habits.
Medical Exam:
There is no medical exam requirement for the Sport Pilot Certificate training, however, we recommend a basic medical exam (approx. $75) "Class 3". The FAA publishes a list of approved aviation medical examiners. You won't need this certification right away but it is wise to get this done early in the training.
Knowledge Test:
The FAA computer multiple choice testing fee currently is $175, paid directly to the test center. You will prepare for this exam using our online video based ground school. The test consists of 40 questions and you will have plenty of time to complete it.
Final Flight Test:
Never too early to find out that the actual final FAA flight test fee is currently $1000. Paid directly to your friendly FAA examiner. Your flight instructor will prepare you for this exam which consists of a ground (oral) and flight portion.
Starting flight training:
You can start to learn to fly with us anytime. Flight training is paid as you go, there is no need for advance payments. Once you have established a set schedule we will help you make a plan to complete the training efficiently.
Books and equipment:
Our online video training package is $299 including the online ground school and online test prep software. Misc. equipment, manuals and charts about another $150. We recommend getting this kit right away and start preparing for your lessons.
TSA authorization:
In case you are not a US citizen, the US government agency TSA requires additional processing. Please let us know if this applies and we can help you with this.
Training times:
Any time during daylight hours, any day, weekends, holidays. We are very flexible and you can arrange a schedule to suit your requirements. If you consider accelerating your training schedule to several times per week or even every day, you need to accelerate your study effort accordingly.
