FAQs

Discover the benefits of aircraft leaseback programs for aspiring and current aircraft owners.

What is leaseback?

Leaseback is an arrangement where you own an aircraft but lease it back to a flight school or operator. This allows you to offset costs through rental income while still enjoying ownership. It’s a smart way to maximize your investment.

How does it work?

In a leaseback program, you purchase an aircraft and then lease it to a flight school. The school operates the aircraft, generating income for you. This arrangement can help cover maintenance and operational costs.

What are the benefits?

Benefits include tax deductions, reduced operational costs, and the joy of aircraft ownership. You can also ensure your aircraft is maintained by professionals. Plus, you may earn income while not using the aircraft.

Are there risks?

Like any investment, leaseback programs come with risks, including potential wear and tear on the aircraft. Additionally, market demand can fluctuate, affecting rental income. It's essential to evaluate these factors before committing.

Who can participate?

Anyone interested in owning an aircraft can participate in a leaseback program. This includes private pilots, flight schools, and aviation enthusiasts. It's a flexible option for those looking to offset costs.
